Participant Rules:
- All participants must be 12 years of age. If participant is under the age of 18, a parent’s authorization is needed.
- All participants MUST sign a release form in order to participant in the race.
- All participants need to be at least two-feet taller than the Push Cart’s Handle Bar to ensure ability to stop the cart.
- Driver 1 (the participant starting the race in the cart) and Driver 2 (the participant pushing the cart) both need proper safety equipment (a standard bicycle helmet).
- Closed-toe running shoes are mandatory. Participants will not be permitted to race in anything other than a closed-toe sneaker or running shoe.
- Participants shall not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If officials sense that a participant is intoxicated, they will not be allowed to race.
- Only two participants are allowed to race one cart, (Driver 1 and Driver 2). Participants cannot switch with any other persons. Only under injury or an immediate family emergency will a third driver be permitted to race a cart. (If a third driver is instated, all proper paperwork must be signed and guidelines met before being allowed to race.
